What are the selection requirements for chemical pumps?
How to choose a chemical pump has always been a concern for many users. Choosing the right chemical pump seems not so easy in different places, different media, and different raw materials. Let's understand the selection requirements for chemical pumps.
How to choose a chemical pump has always been a concern for many users. Choosing the right chemical pump seems not so easy in different places, different media, and different raw materials. Let's understand the selection requirements for chemical pumps.
Selection requirements for chemical pump models
The selection of chemical pumps requires mastery and mastery of the standards for chemical pump selection:
1. Make the selected pump form and performance comply with the main process parameters such as total flow rate, pump stroke, working pressure, temperature, total cavitation flow rate, and stroke suction of the equipment.
2. It is necessary to meet the requirements of moderate characteristics. For pumps that transport flammable, combustible, explosive, harmful or valuable media, reliable pump sealing or the use of leak free pumps are required, such as fluoroplastic magnetic pumps, pneumatic diaphragm pumps and magnetic pumps. For pumps transporting corrosive media, it is stipulated that corrosion-resistant raw materials should be used for the heat convection components, such as AFB stainless steel plate anti-corrosion pumps and CQF rubber product fluoroplastic magnetic pumps. For pumps transporting media containing solid particles, it is stipulated that the heat convection components should be made of metal composite materials, and if necessary, the pump seal should be cleaned with cleaning solution.
3. Mechanical equipment has high stability, low noise, and minimal vibration.
In economic development, fixed costs of mechanical equipment, operation, maintenance, and services should be fully considered comprehensively.
5. Selection of chemical pumps in common places:
(1) Centrifugal water pumps have the characteristics of high speed ratio, small volume, light weight, high efficiency, large total flow rate, simple structure, no droplet pulsation beverage, stable performance, easy practical operation, and convenient maintenance.
(2) When there are metrological verification regulations, a dosing pump should be selected.
(3) The water pump Yang has high regulation, and the total flow rate is not large and there is no suitable small total flow rate. The centrifugal pump Yang can be selected, the reciprocating pump can be selected, and the vortex pump can also be selected if the cavitation regulation is not high.
(4) When the pump stroke is low and the total flow is large, mixed flow pumps and mixed flow pumps can be selected.
(5) When the viscosity of the medium is high (greater than 650~1000mm2/s), cam pumps or reciprocating pumps (gear oil pumps and magnetic pumps) can be considered.
(6) When the medium contains 75% gas source, the total flow rate is small, and the viscosity is below 37.4mm2/s, a vortex pump can be used.
(7) Pumps with self-priming performance, such as self-priming centrifugal pumps, self-priming vortex pumps, pneumatic (electric) specialized pump diaphragm pumps, etc., should be selected for use in places with frequent operation or difficult pumping.
02 Selection criteria for chemical pump models
The selection of water pump models should be based on production flow rate, water supply and drainage standards, and considered from five aspects.
1. The total flow rate is one of the key performance data information for pump selection, which directly affects the production and transportation capacity of all equipment. For example, in the process technology of the planning institute, three total flow rates of the pump can be calculated: normal, low, and high. When selecting a pump, it should be based on the larger total flow rate and all normal total flow rates. When there is no significant total traffic, generally 1.1 times the total normal traffic can be used as the significant total traffic. The pump head required by the equipment system software is another key performance data information for pump selection. Generally, the pump head is selected based on a capacity increase of 5% -10%.
3. Liquid characteristics, including the name, chemical properties, physical properties, and other characteristics of the liquid medium, which involve the pump head of the system software, reasonable calculation of cavitation capacity and appropriate pump type, selection of pump raw materials, and selection of which pump sealing form to use.
The pipeline layout standards for equipment system software refer to data information such as the ratio of the aspect ratio of the transported liquid to the distance of the transported liquid, the low liquid level on the suction side, and the high liquid level on the discharge side, as well as pipeline specifications, length, raw materials, pipeline specifications, models, and total numbers. Easy to calculate the head of the combing pump and calibrate the cavitation allowance.
5. The clarity of actual operating standards, such as the actual operation in liquid state, saturated water vapor force, suction pressure (positive), working pressure of the discharge side container, average altitude, natural environment temperature, whether the actual operation is intermittent or continuous, and whether the pump position is fixed or active. All are important steps in selection.
